A telephone survey was performed in our community during mid-January 2006 to assess the voters' opinions on many topics. I know this because I was one of the people called, and I spent a good deal of time on the phone with the interviewer. Many significant questions were asked by the interviewer, and I gave him all the information he was patient enough to absorb. I wish I had recorded the interview, because there were a number of interesting topics addressed. So I filed the equivalent of a "Freedom of Information" request (attached). You are also encouraged to read the dialog I have had with Board President Denise Bobbitt on this subject. Update: April 17, 2006 I have had a chance to inspect and copy a good deal of information relating to the site selection for the third high school, and will report on that soon. Meanwhile, Ms. Bobbitt has responded that she does not believe my prior request asked for any information about the community surveys taken recently. Rather than quibble about the wording, I have submitted a second request (attached). Meanwhile the saga continues... |
