On March 4, 2008, the voters of our community will have the opportunity to decide on a 9.5 mill operating levy to fund our schools.

The School District has commissioned a campaign committee to educate the public on the need for the levy. I have my doubts that the campaign committee will tell the whole story (see the brochure), so I have put together a presentation that I think does.

And just so you understand where I'm coming from - I support this levy, and very much believe it must pass if we want to keep our school district performing at the current level of service. What I hope to achieve is to educate the people of community about what really drives the economics of our community in hope of motivating the people to take back control of our future.

Otherwise we're going to end up having to pass 9.5 mill levies every two years -- forever.

So if you are willing to gather a few folks together to hear the whole truth about where the money goes, I'll do the teaching. Click the link below to send me an email and we'll get it set up.
