Over the past many months, I have corresponded with the members of the School Board about the need to: a) educate the community about the basics of school funding; and, b) act from a posture of power in community planning matters, rather than behaving as a victim. Copies of much of that correspondence can be found through the buttons to the left. Also attached is a letter I sent to the reporter from SNP's Hilliard Northwest News following a call I received from her while she was writing her story on the Board's February meeting, when the vote was taken on the Emmelhainz site. I have also become concerned about the amount of time this Board spends in Executive Session. I won't duplicate here what I've written in the blog about this, but encourage you to read it. |
