Paul Lambert

Professional Experience:

CompuServe: Started in 1973 as a Computer Operator, and retired in 2000 at age 46 as Vice-President and General Manager of the global internet hosting business of MCI Worldcom's UUNET group. As VP/Network Operations and Chief Technology Officer, I had the privilege to lead an international team of over 700 people and managed a combined operating and capital budget in excess of $300 million annually.
Rivet Digital: One of four creators (in 2001) of this high-tech company in the Hilliard School District.
Pinnacle Data Systems: Elected to the Board of Directors of this publicly-held firm (AMEX:PNS) in 2000 and served through 2005.
Lambert Consulting: Providing strategic planning and operational leadership.

Community Service:

Mountview Baptist Church: Member since 1985. Variety of leadership positions, including Chair of Deacons, Chair of Education, Moderator (lay leader). Currently serving as leader of Community Ministries after contributing to the organizational restructuring of our congregation.
American Baptist Churches/Ohio: Appointed by regional Executive Minister to serve on the strategic planning team chartered with developing a new vision and strategy for the region.
Hilliard Education Foundation: Elected to Board of Trustees in 1999 and served until 2003. Chair of the Evening for Excellence in 2000.
The Ohio State Chapter of Triangle Fraternity: Volunteered to serve as Treasurer for the alumni corporation of the OSU chapter of this fraternity of engineers, architects and scientists. Part of the leadership team which saved this chapter from bankruptcy and closure.
Brown Township Comprehensive Planning Committee: Appointed by the township trustees to serve on the team which updated the land use plan for the western half of our school district.
National Black Programming Consortium: Elected to the Board of Directors in 2001. Currently serving as Secretary.
Election Official: Responded to the call for help in the November 2004 election, and have served in every election since. Currently a Certified Presiding Judge.

Married 33 years to Terry Lambert, a retired accountant and Chief Financial Officer, who now serves as the Treasurer and CFO of Mountview Baptist Church.
Two children who both attended Hilliard Schools from kindergarten through graduation from Darby High School. Our eldest is a graduate of Heidelberg College and an elementary music teacher in northern Ohio. Our youngest is a first year medical student.
Hobbies include travel, motorcycling, railroading, blogging, and bass guitar.
